BonPom FAQs
In the face of ever-increasing economic and environmental
challenges, we can all find our stress levels rising and all the
fun disappearing from our lives.
One group fighting this vicious circle of anxiety and negativity is
Bon Pom – a social movement with an emphasis on self-help,
positivity and vitality.
The brainchild of ex-Gillian McKeith employees Alan Martin and Rob
Steidle, Bon Pom’s key message is “help yourself”, with a double
meaning. It recommends we help ourselves by taking control of our
lives, and also helping ourselves to their fast growing collection
of on-line resources for healthy and positive living.
“If uplifting and inspiring self-help books, podcasts, blogs,
videos and events are your thing, you’ll find loads on our site,
with new additions weekly, and lots of like-minded folks to make
friends with in these challenging times,” says Rob.
We’re in no way trying to deny the serious issues facing everyone
right now adds Rob, “We simply feel positivity and self-empowerment
within a supportive community is the way forward and through
difficult times.”
“So many of us are seeking a simpler, healthier and more
spiritually fruitful lifestyle, but we're unlikely to get there by
becoming more stressed, separated and anxious.”
Whilst most people’s idea of healthier living means abstinence and
misery, Bon Pom firmly believe that a little of what you fancy does
you good.
“Organic horse-hair shirts, raw lentils and two gallons of water a
day is not our idea of fun,” says Alan. “Healthy, positive living
can most definitely be tasty, fun and sexy! It's more like rocket
salad than rocket science.”
“I really like the Bon Pom ethic,” says Carl Munson, a Devon-based
member of the movement’s on-line site bonpom.com. “Their hybrid of
hedonism and holism appeals to me and the chance to meet
similarly-minded members on-line is a real bonus”.
A range of exclusive Bon Pom products is set to follow which will,
largely, be determined by the movement’s members; the first, a
health and beauty range that’ll be good enough to eat.
“Imagine if you had access to not only the buyers, but also the
product development team of your favourite shop,” enthuses Alan.
“Bon Pom’s products will be created by our community for our
community.”
